WP1 – Demand pull RTD needs

Work Package objectives

To define the knowledge that lacks to support a collective vision of the performance upgrades required by the European Transmission Network in 2020 driven by the demand pull approach (centralized electricity producers, DSO, …)

Description of work
The purpose of this work package is to detail the improvements needs of the Transmission Network as seen by

• Centralized generation
• Distribution system
• Market actors
• TSO own demand needs especially in term of control and reliability

The Work Package is divided into the following 5 tasks:

• Task 1.1: RTD needs triggered by Centralized generation
  
  
• Task 1.2: RTD needs triggered by Distribution networks (which should become distribution systems)
  
  
• Task 1.3: RTD needs triggered by Transmission System planning, asset management and investment decision
  
  
• Task 1.4: RTD needs triggered by Transmission System operation
  
  
• Task 1.5 : RTD needs triggered by Market actors
